The Terms of Use, the Privacy Policy and the other legal pages

For everyone2 min readUpdated

Signing up agrees to the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. When we publish new versions, you see what changed, once, and agree to them with one tap.

Step 1: Find the legal pages

Open App settings.

  1. Under Legal: the Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, Refund policy, Acceptable use, Cookie notice, How AI works, Notice to workers, Children’s data and Outside services. Each opens on urtimesheet.com.
App settings with the Legal section: the Privacy Policy, Terms of Use and the other legal pages
Legal, in App settings.

Step 2: When we update them

We updated our Terms and Privacy Policy shows once after you sign in, with what changed, in short.

  1. Continue agrees to the new ones.
  2. Not now asks again at the next sign-in. Rather not agree? You can delete your account in App settings.
  3. The Privacy Policy of November 3, 2026 adds three things: job offers and hiring papers (what a company can ask you to sign and send, and the record kept with each paper you sign in the app), papers you signed for a company stay with it if you delete your account, and two-step sign-in with an email when your account is used on a new device.

Good to know

  • Where you make your account, it says “By signing up you agree to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy”. Every agreement is kept with its version and when, and it is in Download my data.
  • For owners, the Data Processing Agreement says how Ur Timesheet looks after your people’s records for your company: you control them, we use them only to run Ur Timesheet for you and never sell them or use them to train AI, we tell you within 72 hours of confirming a breach that affects them, and if you close the company everything is erased 6 months later.
  • The Data Processing Agreement is not switched on in the app yet, so there is nothing to accept now. Once it is, the owner and anyone with View & manage the plan accept it for the company: when creating the company, on the Plan screen (a paid plan starts only once it is accepted), or on a sheet that asks once (Not now asks again in 7 days). The Plan screen then says who accepted it, on which day and which version. Chief of Staff never accepts it for you.
