Three ways to add your hours

  1. Start and stop. Tap Start when you begin and Stop and save when you’re done. Add a break or tips while it runs. On the phone it keeps working with no signal.
  2. Add hours after. Type the start and end, just the hours, or a full day.
  3. Same as last time. One tap fills in your usual times, break and place.

See what you earned

Set your pay once: per hour, per day or salary. The Work Log works out overtime, breaks, travel, mileage and tips, and shows this pay period, this year and your next pay day.

An estimate from what you entered. Your employer’s pay slip is what counts.

Did I get paid right?

When a pay period ends, mark it as paid and enter what you got. Ur Timesheet compares it with your log and tells you: paid in full, or exactly how much you were short or over. Only you see it.

Share a PDF or spreadsheet

Pick the dates and download a PDF or a spreadsheet, for yourself, your accountant or your boss. Every page says Self-logged, so it’s clear these are your own records.

Only you see it

Your Work Log is private. No company sees it unless you share a file or ask them to confirm days. Hours you log are marked Self-logged and never go into a company’s timesheets or payroll.

Get your hours confirmed

If the company is on Ur Timesheet, ask them to confirm the days you pick. They see only those days: the dates, times, breaks and hours. Never your pay, tips or notes. Days they confirm show as “Confirmed by” and their name.

Invite your employer

Not on Ur Timesheet yet? Send them an invite from the app. Once they join, they can confirm your hours, and you choose when to ask.

Free for one job

Logging one job is free. To log more than one job at a time, there’s Ur Timesheet Plus. If Plus ends, nothing is lost: every job stays yours to see, share and export.

Get the app, add your job, and log your next shift.

Questions

Do I need my employer to be on Ur Timesheet?

No. Add any job by name. If they join later, you can ask them to confirm your hours.

Is it free?

One job at a time is free. Logging more than one job at a time is part of Ur Timesheet Plus. If Plus ends, nothing is lost.

Who sees my Work Log?

Only you, unless you share a PDF or spreadsheet, or ask a company to confirm days. Then they see only those days.

What does Self-logged mean?

Hours you entered yourself. They never count as verified hours, and never join a company’s timesheets or payroll.

Can I log with no signal?

Yes, on the phone. Start and Stop keep their time and are sent when you’re back online.

Does the app track my location?

Only if you turn on “Save my location at Start and Stop”: one reading at each, never in between, and never shown on a map.
