Usage analytics: what it records, and how to turn it off
With usage analytics on, we record which features and screens are used, to improve the app. Never what you type, your location or your pay.
Step 1: Turn it on or off
Open App settings.
- Under Privacy & data, turn Share usage analytics on or off. Change it any time.
In Quebec, the EEA and the UK, or where the region isn’t known yet, the phone asks once first: Help improve Ur Timesheet?, with Allow and Don’t allow. It stays off until you answer, and your answer is this switch, on that phone. On the website, the cookie banner asks instead (Reject keeps it off), and Cookie settings changes it.
Good to know
- Everywhere else it starts on, and the same switch turns it off.
- Crash reports stay on either way: they are about what broke, never about you. What they hold.
