Shift offers: take one or turn it down

For workers1 min readUpdated

When a company offers you a shift, it waits for your answer under Schedule → Offers, with a dot that shows how many.

Step 1: See your offers

  1. Open the company, then Schedule → Offers. Each offer shows the day, the site, the hours and how long you have to answer.

An emergency shift shows its extra pay. The first person to accept it gets it.

Step 2: Take it

Tap an offer to open it: the date and hours, the job site and its map, the notes for the shift, and what the shift needs.

  1. Slide Slide to accept to the right to take it.
  2. Or tap Decline, and say why if you like.

The manager is told your answer at once. An offer can have a time limit: after it, the spot can go to someone else. An offer also ends when the shift starts: it goes from your Offers and can no longer be taken, and you and the scheduler are told it ended when the shift started.

Good to know

  • The pay line shows only when the shift pays extra (a pay bump or an emergency).
  • Accepted shifts move to Schedule → Upcoming, and into your phone’s calendar if calendar sync is on.
