How workers clock in and out, with breaks
There are two ways in: you clock yourself in from the shift, or you show your badge and your supervisor signs you in. Breaks run on a timer, and your hours go straight into the timesheet.
Step 1: Clock in
Open today’s shift from Home or Schedule.
- Tap Clock in now. Your location is checked once, to confirm you are at the site.
Clocking in records when you really arrived: the later of the start time and your tap. If Clock in now isn’t there, your company signs you in: show your badge (the QR button at the top right of Home) to your supervisor.

Step 2: Take your breaks
Once you are clocked in, My breaks shows your break rules and when each break is due.
- Tap Start on the break. A full-screen timer runs until you are back.
Unpaid breaks come off your paid hours. If you can’t step away, I need relief asks your supervisor for someone to cover you.

Step 3: Clock out
- Tap Clock out now at the end of the shift.
Your clock-out records when you left, or the scheduled end if you stay past it. Stayed later to help? The people who sign the crew in are told, and they can approve the extra time. If you still hold equipment, you are asked to hand it back first, or keep it for your next shift. Where your company asks, you are asked Any cash tips tonight?: type the amount and tap Save and sign out, or No cash tips. Your tips.

Good to know
- A supervisor or crew lead can sign you in and out instead, best by scanning your badge (on the phone; the website has no camera scanner).
- No signal? Your tap is saved with the time you tapped and sent when the phone is back online.
- Your hours show on Pay once the shift is signed out.
