Availability and time off
Each worker tells each company when they can work. Managers see it when they book, and approve time off in Requests.
Step 1: Set your usual week
In the company, open Menu → Availability. It is only for that company.
- For each day of your usual week choose All day, Hours (from and to) or Off.
Someone who sets nothing can be booked any day. One Save at the bottom saves the week, the days and your hours cap together.

Step 2: Mark the days you can’t work
- Tap a day on the calendar to mark it Can’t work or Only hours; tap it again to clear it. A marked day counts instead of your usual week.
- Cap my hours stops the company booking you past the hours you choose.

Step 3: Ask for time off
- Open Menu → My requests → New request and choose Time-Off (or Vacation, or Leave of Absence).
- Pick the first and last day off, add a note if you like, and tap Submit request.

Step 4: Approve it (managers)
The request lands in Menu → Requests.
- Tap Approve or Decline. Approved days count as days they can’t work.
Booking them on those days then shows, for example, “Priya is on approved time off Nov 7–8”. Shifts they already hold that week are not removed, so check them and find cover.

Good to know
- Under Menu → Rules → Availability enforcement, Warn (the default) lets you Book anyway after it tells you why; Block refuses it.
- You see each person’s availability and upcoming days off in their profile (Menu → Employees, tap the person).
