Post a job and review applicants

For owners and managers1 min readUpdated

Post your open roles with Hire: workers find them in the job market and apply with your form. You move each applicant through New, Reviewing, Interview and Hired, and Hired sends them your job offer.

Step 1: Post a role

Open Menu → Hire, then Postings, and add one.

  1. The role, the employment type, the pay rate, the job site and a description, and whether it is taking applications.

Step 2: Set your application form

  1. Form: the questions applicants answer, each with its type and whether it is required, in your order.

Step 3: Review applicants

  1. Applications open newest first. Open one to read every answer, then move it: Reviewing, Interview or Hired. Hired opens Send an offer: the role, pay, first day, your letter and your packet.

They join your team only when they accept the offer. Moving a Hired application back to New, Reviewing or Interview withdraws the offer it sent, while it still waits, and they are told; turning them down (Not selected) withdraws it too. An offer they already accepted is left alone. Applicants follow their application in their My requests. Send an offer.

You’re done when…

  • Your open roles are posted, and your application form asks what you need.

Good to know

  • The papers, forms and rules a new person gets with your offer are your hiring packets, under Hire → Packets.
  • Someone declined your offer? Their application shows as Rejected, with the note The offer was declined, and you can send a new offer from it.
