Payroll settings: pay periods, hours and rounding
Payroll settings decide how hours add up into pay periods. Set them before your first pay period. Ur Timesheet reports what to pay; it does not move money.
Step 1: Your pay period
Open Menu → Payroll. It opens locked, so nothing changes by accident: tap Edit to change something.
- Pay period: how often you pay, for example Bi-weekly. Then your Last pay day, and how many days after a period ends pay day falls.
- Work week starts on: the day each week starts (Monday unless you change it). Weekly overtime counts from it.

Step 2: Hours, overtime and rounding
- Standard hours: the minimum and maximum a day (or a week, two weeks or a month). The maximum is the hours cap, for everyone without a cap of their own.
- Overtime rules: when overtime starts and what it pays. How overtime works.
- Clock rounding and the Late grace period: round clock-in and clock-out to 5, 10 or 15 minutes, or not at all, and how late someone can be before it counts.
Every change is a draft until you tap Save changes, which lists exactly what changed. Cancel puts everything back.

You’re done when…
- Your pay period and pay days match how you really pay, and the next pay day is right.
- Your overtime rules are set, or you have chosen to have none.
