Cancel or change a shift

Open the shift and tap Cancel shift & pay crew; everyone on it is told. You choose how many hours each person is still paid for the late notice. With none, the cancelled shift pays nothing. Changing the times of a filled shift warns you if the person on it can't work the new times, but leaves them on.

Changing or cancelling close to the start can trip the Schedule change notice rule under Menu → Rules. Cancelling also withdraws any offer on that shift nobody had answered, and closes the requests people sent for its open spots; they are told.

Changing the hours of a shift moves every spot that was on the shift's hours (a spot you gave its own times keeps them, and so does one someone already signed in on) and tells the people on them. Removing a spot or a whole shift tells whoever had asked for it.

If the app refuses a change (a rule, or someone already signed in on the spot), it says why and the screen keeps what is really saved.
