Plans and billing

For owners and managers2 min readUpdated

You pay for the people you actually put on a shift that month, not your whole roster. Workers are always free. Your plan, this month’s count and the next bill are in Menu → Plan.

Step 1: See your plan and this month

Tap the plan box at the bottom of the Menu.

  1. Your plan, what is due on the 1st, and how many workers you have deployed this month.
  2. The prices are in your country’s currency. Change picks the country if it is wrong.
The Plan screen: Pro, the amount due on Nov 1, 23 deployed, and the country prices are shown for
Your plan and this month.

Step 2: Start Standard or Pro

On the Free plan, the Plan screen ends with Standard and Pro side by side.

  1. Tap Start Standard or Start Pro. Billing is on the website, by card.

Free covers up to 5 deployed workers a month. Standard: the first 5 workers free each month, then $3.50 USD per worker, $19 monthly minimum. Pro: then $6 USD per worker, $49 monthly minimum, and Chief of Staff books what it plans.

The Standard and Pro tiers side by side, with Start Standard and Start Pro
Standard and Pro, on the Plan screen.

Step 3: Give Plus to 3 of your people (Pro)

  1. On Pro, Plus for your people at the bottom of the Plan screen says how many of your 3 are given. Tap Choose people.
  2. Search or scroll the list of your people, and turn on the switch next to up to 3 of them. Turn one off to take it back and give it to someone else.

It is free with Pro: they get Ur Timesheet Plus (résumé and letters, Tidy up, Translate, their own helper and job alerts) while they work for you. They are told when you give it and when you take it away. You never see whether someone pays for Plus themselves. On Free or Standard the card says Free with Pro. Your clients get the client features with Pro too: their monthly site report, their own helper, favourite workers and checklists. There is nothing to switch on.

Plus for your people: 2 of 3 given, with Choose people
Plus for your people, at the bottom of the Plan screen on Pro.

Good to know

  • A deployed worker is anyone who accepted a shift that month, counted once however many shifts they work. No-shows count; a declined or expired offer, and anyone taken off a shift before its day, do not.
  • The invoice comes on the 1st for the month before. After each payment, Stripe emails the invoice and the receipt to your billing email. Your past invoices and receipts are all under Menu → Plan → Manage billing, with your card.
  • Cancel in Manage billing: you keep the paid plan to the end of the month, then you are back on Free. Everyone who looks after billing is told which day it ends, and told again if you turn the cancellation off.
  • If a card payment fails you have 7 days to fix it in Menu → Plan → Manage billing before the paid plan pauses. What happens.
