Who sees a worker’s personal details

For everyone1 min readUpdated

A person's phone, email, address, emergency contact, birthday and gender show as a row of round icons under their name on their profile (Menu → Employees → tap the person, then tap an icon to read it) for the owner, admins and the people who manage that person. Nobody else is sent them.

An older version of the phone app lists them under Personal details near the bottom of the profile instead. Coworkers only ever see a name, photo and job title. A supervisor or crew lead who runs a shift's sign-in sheet gets a Call button for the people on that shift, and nothing else.

Each worker has two switches in their own profile under "Who can see this": "Show my birth year" (off: you see their birthday and whether they are an adult, but not the year or their age) and "Show my gender" (off: it reads "Hidden by them"). Phone, address and emergency contact cannot be hidden from the people who manage them.

Their separate "Private profile" switch is only about what a badge scan shows; a badge scan never shows an email address.

Where to find it
