Your profile: photo, contact, emergency contact and who sees what

For workers1 min readUpdated

Your profile is yours, not any one company’s: every company you work for sees it. Some parts everyone sees, some only the people who manage you.

Step 1: Open your profile

Open Menu and tap the box with your name.

  1. Profile: about you, your skills and languages, your contact details and your emergency contact.
  2. Portfolio: the companies you have worked for and their verified hours, past jobs you add yourself, and your certifications.
  3. Privacy: who sees your personal details.

Each section says who sees it: Everyone you work with (about you, skills), or Managers only (contact, personal details, emergency contact).

Step 2: Add your skills and languages

Tap the pencil to edit. At the top are your photo, your name and a line about you: employers and coworkers see them.

  1. Your skills and languages: they help employers pick you for shifts.

Tap Save changes. Your login email changes in App settings, not here.

Step 3: Add your emergency contact

  1. A name, how they are related to you, and a phone. Only the people who manage you see it, for when something happens on a shift.

Step 4: Build your portfolio

On Portfolio, jobs and hours from Ur Timesheet show as Verified by themselves.

  1. Add past experience for a job from before: it shows as Unverified until that company confirms it. Ask them to.
  2. Add certification for a licence or certificate you hold.

You’re done when…

  • Home no longer shows Add an emergency contact or Add a photo and a short bio under Getting started.
  • Your profile has a photo, a line about you, an emergency contact, at least one skill or language, and a past job or a certification.
