Send a paper to your staff, and ask again for a new version
For people already working for you: send one paper, like a new policy to agree to, a form to fill in or a document to bring, and see who has done it. A handbook or a policy can get a new version that everyone agrees to again.
Step 1: Open Send a paper
Open Menu → Documents.
- Tap Send a paper.
Or tap Send a paper on one person’s papers, under Menu → Employees → the person. Papers sent to staff (on the phone, Sent to staff) lists what went out.

Step 2: Pick the paper and who gets it
- What: one of the items from your packets, or a new one of any of the six kinds.
- To: everyone, a role, a job site (the people who worked there in the last 60 days or are booked there), or people you pick.
- Needed to work: not done by the due date, they show as not ready to work.
Pick when it is due, then tap Send to the number of people. They get a notice, and a small card on their Home. Someone who already agreed to the same version is done at once.

Step 3: See who still owes it
Open it from Papers sent to staff.
- Still owe it: each person who hasn’t done it yet, with Opened it, hasn’t agreed or Not opened.
- Remind the … reminds them all, at most once every 12 hours each.
Its line says how far it got, like 14 of 19 agreed. People who left are not counted.

Step 4: A new version of a policy
Open the paper to read and agree in its packet (Hire → Packets), and tap Versions and who agreed.
- Upload a new version (on the phone, New version): the new PDF, a label like Nov 2026, and what changed, as they see it.
Turn on asking everyone who agreed before to agree again, or tap Ask … again later. They get the new version, with what changed. The old file is kept, with how many agreed to each version.

Good to know
- Our rules in the app works the same way: after you change a rule, Ask them again asks everyone whose agreed words differ. With When a rule changes, ask them to agree again on (Hire → Packets settings), they are asked by themselves, with one notice a day at most.
- Workers never see who else still owes a paper. Supervisors and crew leads see only Ready or Not ready.
- Sending a paper and reminding need Review applications; uploading a new version needs Edit careers form.
