Day-by-day pay and pay disputes
A worker's Pay tab (phone and web) opens on the pay period being earned: what it adds up to so far before deductions, when it pays, and what it is made of (hours, pay bumps, overtime, travel, driver pay, shared tips), with the cash tips they kept listed under it, not in the total.
Under it, Day by day lists each day worked that period with the job site, the job, signed-in times, its hours and what it paid, tagged for a pay bump, travel, overtime or a break, and, where the company approves timesheets before payroll, Approved or Waiting for approval (their hours count toward pay once the timesheet is approved).
Tapping a day shows how it adds up line by line (hours at the rate, then each thing on top, and the day's total). Once that day is signed out, Something wrong? Dispute it lets them say what is wrong (hours, a missing pay bump, missing travel, a break, My tips are wrong, or something else) and what it should be.
It reaches you in Requests as a Pay dispute (it counts as a Payroll request in Inbox settings), showing the day exactly as the timesheet has it (job site, job, scheduled and signed-in times, paid hours, unpaid break, who signed them in and out), what their Pay screen showed for it, and their reason.
Accept says it will be fixed; make the correction on that shift's timesheet as usual. Decline says the pay stays as it is. They are told either way, and nobody answers a dispute about their own pay. One dispute per day can wait at a time, and only for their own days that have happened.
Where to find it
- A worker opens the day on Pay and taps Something wrong? Dispute it.
