Accept a job offer, or decline it

For workers1 min readUpdated

When a company hires you, it sends a job offer: in the app, with a push, and by email. It has the job written down. Accepting joins the company, and then you do your papers before your first day.

Step 1: Open the offer

It waits on your own Home, and opens from the notice and the email too.

  1. Tap Open the offer.

Step 2: Read it, then accept or decline

  1. The role, the pay (when they put it in), the first day and the hours, where you work and who you report to.
  2. After you accept: how many things there are to do before your first day, and about how long they take.
  3. Tap Accept, or Decline.

With an offer letter, the button is Accept and sign: read the letter, sign once with your finger or mouse, and tick the line that says signing in the app counts the same as on paper. The offer says when it ends, on the company’s clock.

Step 3: Before your first day

Once you accept, you work at that company.

  1. Before your first day sits at the top of its Home until your first shift: your papers to do, and when each is due.

Good to know

  • Decline tells the company. You can say why, if you like. You can’t take it back, but they can send you a new offer. Once you accept, you can’t decline it: to leave, talk to your employer.
  • An offer that ended or was withdrawn can’t be accepted: ask the company to send it again.
  • No account yet? The email’s button lets you sign up or sign in with that email, then opens the offer.
  • Nobody else can accept it for you: not Ur Timesheet support, and not the helper.
